Our three year olds will be learning about Easter this month. Mrs. Collura and I have found some cute new projects and are pulling out some old favorites! We both love the stained glass crosses and are looking forward to making Bunnies! We will also be making some St. Patrick’s Day projects and are looking forward to the field trip on the 10th.
Our Tuesday, Thursday four year olds will be folding up their circus tent and starting to think about Easter. They will be making some really cute chicks and bunnies. They will be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day…Mrs. Paynter’s favorite day! They will be making lots of projects that help them learn about Easter and Jesus. They will also be heading out on a field trip.
The Monday, Wednesday, Friday kids will be exploring Easter as well. They will also learn about St. Patrick’s Day. The biggest kids in our school will be learning about Jesus and Easter. They are often the group that truly “gets it”. One year, a pre-k kid named Amy (now in her third year in college!) said “The very best part of Easter is that Jesus rose up!” This is the message that we pray the children learn this month.
All of our kids are invited to come to preschool on Wednesday, March 23. This is usually a snow make-up day for us, be we want to use it as an Easter Fun Day at school! Class will be held from 9:00-11:30. We will be having an egg hunt, watching a movie about Jesus, making a craft, AND hopefully, the Easter Bunny will be hopping down the hall to fill our baskets.
